•  Word of mouth is still one of the best ways to find a job.
•  Far too often, the fact that we are unemployed and looking for work is the best kept secret around.  Being unemployed does not have the stigma it once carried.
•  You need to let people know they you are looking for work
•  Ask for help! You will be surprised to see who will be willing to help and support you
•  Join Professional Organizations and look through their publications for Job ads
•  Join Networking Groups
•  Utilize your Extracurricular Activities for Networking
•  Be prepared - A winning resume and cover letter should not be too far away
•  Express appreciation for any assistance you receive, regardless of how small
•  Extend to others the support and assistance you would like to have received. "What goes around . . ."
