Coat of arms of Grenada

Hurricane Ivan  tore through Grenada on September 7, 2004 at a Category 5 strength.  Ivan left a devastating path of destruction to Grenada’s infrastructure, trees, vegetation, homes and businesses.

About 90% of the homes in Grenada have either been destroyed or severely damaged.  Sadly, most people had no insurance

Have you ever wondered what has happened to some of these people in Grenada and how they are coping and putting their lives back together? Here is a report of what a Miami-based organization, Ministries in Action (MIA), is doing and what's going on: Summary Report of of Home for the Homeless: Grenada

You can help these folks to rebuild their lives in countless ways.  Here are some ideas in a PowerPoint Slide Show on MIA 2005 Home for the Homeless: Grenada Project (PowerPoint Presentation)
